Groupe Cartier’s role
Interior design and custom cabinetry
A beautiful kitchen isn’t born from a catalogue. It comes from careful listening, a precise design vision and flawless execution. That’s exactly what Groupe Cartier brought to the Tolhurst project: pure expertise in interior design and custom cabinetry, integrated seamlessly into the client’s existing team.
The client already had their own general contractor, electrician and plumber in place. Groupe Cartier stepped in where its expertise is irreplaceable: the kitchen’s interior design and the fabrication of custom cabinetry. Working alongside the other trades already on site allowed for smooth integration and a cohesive delivery, without friction or unnecessary delays.
The goal was twofold: transform the kitchen’s look and make it significantly more ergonomic. Every design decision was guided by how the space is actually used, its traffic flow and the occupants’ day-to-day comfort.
The cabinets were custom-fabricated and installed using Miralis laminate products, an industry benchmark for finish quality and material durability. Laminate offers a clean surface that resists impact and moisture, ideal for a kitchen that’s both busy and design-forward. Every module maximizes storage and the ergonomics of the work zones.
Cosentino Silestone quartz, in the Toscana Cream shade, brings warmth, softness and richness to the space, a timeless colour that suits both contemporary and transitional styles. In elegant contrast, the Legno Venezia wood-look laminate surfaces, in the Sabbia finish, introduce an organic texture and striking visual depth.
Great design projects are recognized by their finishing touches. The kitchen curtains were custom-made by Store Urbain, adding the final touch that ties every element of the space together in perfect visual harmony. A detail that makes all the difference between a beautiful kitchen and a truly designed one.
