This kitchen renovation in an Ahuntsic condo was delivered turnkey by Groupe Cartier as general contractor, from planning through to final delivery. The goal was to design a contemporary, elegant and highly functional kitchen, perfectly suited to the constraints and lifestyle of condo living.
The layout was completely rethought to optimize circulation, work zones and storage. A staircase clad in wood slats separates the kitchen from the adjoining space without closing it off, letting light and sightlines flow from one room to the next.
The kitchen island structures the space and becomes an inviting gathering point, while offering a generous, durable work surface. Topped with a linear light fixture and lined with stools, it anchors the kitchen at the heart of the condo.
The custom Miralis cabinetry stands out for its clean lines, quality craftsmanship and seamless integration with the chosen materials. Tall white upper cabinets, grey lower cabinets and green niches accented with wood shelving create a palette that is both understated and warm.
The surfaces, architectural lighting and appliance integration were carefully coordinated to ensure visual consistency and optimal everyday performance. The ceramic backsplash and open shelving add texture and breathing room to the whole.
