Founded in 1998, Groupe Cartier specialises in high-end residential and commercial design. From conception to completion, the team stands out for its approach on a human scale while bringing together each of the design, construction and management trades.
At all times and in all places, this principle is at the heart of Groupe Cartier’s identity. What we promise, we deliver; straightforwardly, unambiguously, with an unequalled concern for transparency. Our integrity is a source of pride for us, as well as a guarantee of sustainability for the company and its relationships. Trust us, and we will cherish this privilege with honor, as it deserves to be.
Every individual with whom Groupe Cartier interacts; Whether it’s a customer, a partner or an employee, shares a common goal: to bring a dream to life. Based on the principle that no one is an expert in everything, but that everyone excels at something, we select our employees and partners rigorously, in order to create a synergy that transcends us all and makes our customer experience unique. A finely targeted and admirably orchestrated team is our best-kept secret.
The beaten track, the déjà vu, the conformism; It’s too easy. No one widens their eyes at an image that has been seen hundreds of times, and no one raves about what is nothing extraordinary. Groupe Cartier is therefore committed to constantly rethinking conventions, and innovates by offering you a breath of fresh air within your environment. You are unique and constantly evolving; so are we. Don’t you think your home should follow the same logic?
We believe that it is impossible to arouse wonder without a touch of passion. This affective state, lively and persistent, which relentlessly encourages us to surpass ourselves within the limits of our art, is what imbues our projects with an unparalleled soul. We deeply love our job; far beyond material and financial considerations, and it is with great humility that we exercise it to the best of ourselves, to your complete satisfaction.
Groupe Cartier’s commitment to excellence certifies that your project will be imagined, built and fitted out by recognised professionals, with surgical precision. Much more than just an idea, it is a guideline for each member of the team from which it is impossible to deviate. This commitment takes us to the next level with you; the one that everyone dreams of, but that few reach. That is why we categorically refuse to be satisfied with what is not exceptional: because we know that you do not either.
We believe that a client’s level of satisfaction, as well as a professional’s performance at work, is intimately linked to the degree of pleasure they feel throughout the process they undertake together. Groupe Cartier cultivates smiles on a daily basis, and attaches paramount importance to the well-being of its team and customers. The company regularly invests in its facilities and work tools to maintain a pleasant environment; it generously acknowledges its gratitude to its customers and team members; and it makes sure to build unique spaces, which will maintain the degree of pleasure of those who use them at their peak.
Marie Hélène Fauquet and John De Cesaris founded Cartier Kitchens in Montreal. The company specialises in residential custom kitchens, with an approach focused on human service.
Over the course of the projects, Cuisines Cartier has become a reference in kitchens: custom design, quality materials, impeccable finish. The clientele is becoming loyal, word-of-mouth is doing its work.
Customers’ needs are changing: they no longer just want a kitchen, but a complete and coherent renovation. François Guida joins the ranks. The company then developed the general contractor component and began to manage the sites from A to Z.
The team is enriched by interior designers and project managers. The company now offers a complete turnkey service: interior design, plans, cabinetmaking, work management, coordination of the various trades.
To reflect this new reality, Cuisines Cartier becomes Groupe Cartier:
An integrated team that brings together interior design, custom furniture and general contractor, under a single banner.
Several residential projects (kitchens and complete spaces) stand out at the GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN and the Domus Awards, confirming Groupe Cartier’s place among the major players in high-end renovation in Quebec.
The group’s achievements are published in magazines and design platforms in Quebec: kitchen projects, complete residencies and reports on the company’s know-how.
Opening of a new showroom in Montreal, designed as a space for co-creation with customers: materials library, inspiration kitchens, meeting areas. This place and several high-end residence projects have been rewarded in design competitions, in Quebec and internationally.
Today, Groupe Cartier accompanies homeowners in their major renovations, high-end kitchens and turnkey projects, with a vision: to offer spaces that are as beautiful as they are well thought out, where every detail counts.

The APDIQ is a non-profit organisation whose goal is to maintain and develop the level of professional excellence of interior designers through a rigorous accreditation process. GROUPE CARTIER employs and collaborates with certified designers, some of whom even sit on the Association’s committees.
Site design, efficient management of water, energy and atmosphere, materials and resources, and the quality of indoor environments are all evaluation criteria that allow a building to obtain LEED certification, attesting to its sustainable and environmentally friendly nature. Groupe Cartier chooses its materials and operating processes to meet these standards, each time.
